I don’t know about you, but I could watch these gentle giants all day long. And I’m guessing your students could, too. The great thing about nature livestreams is that you can use them in the classroom for scientific observation, brain breaks, or a reward. We rounded up our favorite panda cams for kids just for you. Take a peek!

Wolong Grove

Observe the very happy panda residents at the yards at Shenshuping Gengda Panda Center in China’s Wolong Valley. Did I mention they have cubs?

Gengda Valley

Sit back and enjoy watching the pandas climb the wood structure at the Shenshuping Gengda Panda Center.

iPanda has set up 28 cameras at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. They switch them, so you never know which view you’re going to get!

Zoo Atlanta

This panda cam is one of our favorites. Don’t miss Zoo Atlanta’s Panda Posts for frequent updates, like how Yang Yang takes advantage of his pool.

Trevor Zoo

OK, so technically red pandas aren’t pandas. They’re in a different family (more like a raccoon than a bear). But they’re still fun to watch.

You’ll have to be patient, but catching these little guys running around is well worth the wait.

You can toggle between Panda Cam 1 (outdoor exhibit) and Panda Cam 2 (indoor habitat) to watch giant pandas Tian Tian, Mei Xiang, and Xiao Qi Ji.

Memphis Zoo

At the Memphis Zoo, you get two indoor views and one outdoor view. Catch the pandas reclining to enjoy a little bamboo snack.

Edinburgh Zoo

See what giant panda Yang Guang is up to at this zoo in Scotland. I’m guessing eating.
