We’ve all used Bitmojis to express our feelings or send birthday wishes to friends. But have you thought about building a virtual Bitmoji classroom for back to school? If you’ll be teaching virtually, this is a fun and helpful option for your students. The interactive elements allow them to click through to see assignments, documents, and websites.

Looking for ideas of what to include in your virtual Bitmoji classroom? We’ve got you covered with these creative ideas posted in our WeAreTeachers Facebook groups. Plus, Instagram has a variety of posts that are great for inspiration. And if you don’t know how to get started … we’ve included a tutorial below.

Took me hours but I’m super OBSESSED with my new Bitmoji Classroom🥰💚when thinking of designing my new classroom I always wanted a rainbow theme🌈 so my virtual classroom will do for now🥺🧡 If you are thinking of creating one for your class and don’t know where to start I am more than willing to share how I made mine😊 it took some time, but I got the hang of it and now I’m obsessed💙 I got the digital calendar from @teachinprimary 💜 & inspiration from @coffeecrayonsandkiddos ❤️ #bitmojiclassroom #googleclassroom #bitmojicrazeforeducators #bitmojiteacher #virtualclassroom #firstyearteacher #tkteacher #transitionalkindergarten #etk #earlychildhoodeducation #earlyed #studentteacher #californiateachers #californiateachertribe #kindergartenteacher #kindergartenclassroom

Ready for School!

View this post on Instagram

Earlier this week our district announced that unless things "drastically change" by August, we will start the year with e-learning! I have mixed feelings since I LOVEEEEE being in the classroom with the kids but because of the circumstances and the safety of the staff and students, I am quite relieved after this decision! It will be a lot of hard work because even though we did it in March, starting with a whole new class will be a whole new ballpark with distance learning! So I have a lot to learn myself, but if we're doing this online, the homepage needs to be cute, right? 🥰 #kindergarten #iteachk #iteachkinder ##kindergartenteacher #kinder #bitmojiclassroom #elearning #distancelearning #year3

Virtual is Easier to Set Up!

View this post on Instagram

Decorating my Bitmoji classroom was definitely less exhausting than setting up my actual classroom 👩🏻‍💻 Those bulletin board borders were much easier to hang that any other bulletin board I've ever done before! Thinking of ways to add that extra touch of fun this year! Can't wait to use this as a banner for our Google Classroom 😆 Shout out to all the teachers making these- they’re so fun to look at! #teachersofinstagram #teachergram #teachersfollowteachers #teacher #athomelearning #iteachtoo #igteachers #teacherfriends #tpt #teacherbloggers #alwaysateacher #educator #elementaryteachers #bitmoji #bitmojiclassroom #distancelearning #googleclassroom #google #googleslides

Music Teachers Get in the Groove

View this post on Instagram

I am so proud of my online music room that I've created and just wanted to share it with all of you. I wanted to see if I could limit the amount that I am sending home to students/families in order to prevent them from being more overwhelmed, especially for parents who have students in multiple grade levels. There are so many wonderful online resources for music education! Objects in the room are linked to all kinds of things – songs, movement activities, play-along videos, interactive rhythm compositions, a place to leave a note (just like in my actual classroom!), and even assignments for each grade level. This doesn't come close to being in the actual classroom, but hopefully it will help our students feel a little bit more connected to their school. Let me know if you'd like the link, I'd be happy to share!
