Dr. Mark Gudgel is a Fulbright Scholar and a fellow of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, the Imperial War Museum, and Fund For Teachers. His recent book, Think Higher Feel Deeper: Holocaust education in the secondary classroom, was released from Teachers College Press in 2021 and reflects upon his eighteen-year career as a teacher of Holocaust and genocide studies. Gudgel currently serves as an assistant professor of education at the College of Saint Mary and lives in Omaha, Nebraska, with his wife and their two children.
