Eligibility 

The We Are Teachers Very Merry Holiday Giveaway 2025 (“Sweepstakes”) is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older, and currently employed full- or part-time as an educator by an accredited public or private K-12 school in the United States as of date of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of We Are Teachers (“Administrator”), Dun & Bradstreet, the individual sponsors as listed below (each a “Sponsor”), and their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, contest, fulfillment and marketing agencies (collectively, the “Sweepstakes Parties”), their immediate family members, and those living in the same household as such individuals (whether legally related or not) are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes or win a prize. For purposes of this Sweepstakes, immediate family members are defined as spouse, partner, parents, legal guardians, in-laws, grandparents, siblings, children and grandchildren and their respective spouses, and those living in the same household shall mean people who share the same residence at least three (3) months a year, whether legally related or not. Void where prohibited by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. By participating in the Sweepstakes, you unconditionally accept and agree to comply with and abide by these “Official Rules” and the decisions of the Administrator, including the interpretation of these Official Rules, administration of the Sweepstakes, selection of the winners, and the Administrator’s exercise of discretion, which will be final, non-appealable, and binding in all respects.

Timing

The Sweepstakes begins at or about 12:00 a.m. Central time (“CT”) on December 1, 2025, and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. CT on December 31, 2025 (the “Sweepstakes Period”). The Sweepstakes Period is comprised of individual entry periods (each an “Entry Period”), each of which has its own Sponsor and must be entered individually. The individual Entry Periods and their respective Sponsors will be noted at the Website (as defined below). Additionally, there is one (1) “Grand Prize Entry Period” that all Entry Periods will carry into and runs the entire Sweepstakes Period from December 1 to December 31, 2025. The designated computer clock of the Administrator is the official time-keeping device in the Sweepstakes.

How To Enter

During the Sweepstakes Period, visit www.weareteachers.com/hub/holiday-giveaway/ (“Website”) and complete and submit an official entry form, including your full name, valid email address, the name of your school, and its address. You will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes for the applicable Entry Period, subject to the limit below. All entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. CT on the end date for the applicable Entry Period to be included in that Entry Period’s drawing. 

The Sweepstakes Parties are not responsible for technical difficulties of any kind, or for false, incorrect, changed, incomplete, or illegible contact information. 

LIMIT: One (1) entry per person per calendar day. Entries generated by script, computer programs, macro, programmed, robotic, or other automated means are void and may be disqualified. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted, damaged, destroyed, forged, false, lost, late or misdirected, deceptive, or otherwise not in compliance with the Official Rules may be disqualified from the Sweepstakes at Administrator’s sole and absolute discretion. Those who do not follow all instructions, provide the required information in their entry form, or abide by these Official Rules or other instructions of Administrator may be disqualified. Entries submitted by those who do not meet the eligibility requirements are void. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by the registered account holder of the email address associated with such entry, provided that person is eligible. Any potential winner may be required to show proof of being the registered account holder. Registered account holder is defined as the person assigned to an email address by an internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses. In the event that a dispute regarding the identity of the individual who submitted an entry cannot be resolved to Administrator’s satisfaction, the affected entry will be deemed ineligible.

Winner Selection and Notification

Daily Prize

The prizes are selected daily. You must enter for that day to be eligible for the prize. Daily prize winners will be selected via a random drawing on a weekly basis for each prize day of such week. One (1) winner per prize day will be selected. Each selected entry is considered a potential winner pending verification of eligibility and compliance with the Official Rules.

Grand Prize

The grand-prize winner will be selected from among all eligible entries received in accordance with these Official Rules for the applicable Entry Period (December 1, 2025, through December 31, 2025). On or about January 5, 2026, one (1) grand-prize winner will be randomly selected as set forth above. Each entry is considered a potential winner pending verification of eligibility and compliance with the Official Rules.

All potential winners are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. The Sweepstakes Parties are not responsible for and shall not be liable for incorrect, changed, or illegible contact information or for electronic communications that are undeliverable as a result of any form of active or passive filtering, or insufficient space in entrant’s email or other account to receive messages. Sweepstakes Parties are not responsible for late, lost, intercepted, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts to notify any potential winner. As part of the winner notification process, the potential grand-prize winner will be required to complete and submit a declaration of eligibility/release of liability/prize acceptance agreement (“Declaration”) within five (5) days of date of notification, as a condition of receiving the grand prize. If the potential grand-prize winner fails or refuses to sign and return the Declaration within the required time period or if the Declaration is returned as rejected, faulty, unclaimed, or returned as undeliverable to the potential grand-prize winner, and/or the potential grand-prize winner is otherwise noncompliant, the potential grand-prize winner will be disqualified and an alternate will be selected, up to three (3) alternates, after which the grand prize will remain unawarded. Any Entry Period prize not claimed within sixty (60) days will be forfeited and unawarded. 

Prizes and Prize Claiming

Entry Period prizes will be announced at the Website for each Entry Period (each an “Entry Period Prize”). The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of each Entry Period Prize will be noted at the Website with the individual prize description and Entry Period dates.

• One (1) “Grand Prize” winner will be selected from all entries received during the entire Sweepstakes Period. The Grand Prize per winner is:  

o 4-day/3-night all-inclusive stay in in one room (double occupancy) for 2 adults to Meliá Caribe Beach Resort, including a $500 flight gift card per person.

o All-inclusive includes all meals, beverages, non-motorized water sports, entertainment, taxes, gratuities, and service charges.
o  Flight Gift Cards of $500 per person, $1,000 total.

• The ARV of the Grand Prize is: $1,900 per winner (all-inclusive room package + air gift cards)

The total ARV of all prizes awarded in the Sweepstakes is <$8,265>. 

Grand Prize Terms and Conditions:

• All expenses and incidental travel costs not expressly stated in the Prize description, including but not limited to taxes, ground transportation, spa treatments, excursions, discretionary premium meal service and specialty wine list, and other costs, fees, or surcharges, will be the sole responsibility of the winner. 
• The winner will be presented an official certificate detailing the prize and redemption process (“Prize Certificate”).
• The Prize Certificate will be valid for one year from the Prize being awarded (“Prize Expiration Date”) to complete travel; if unredeemed, no extensions will be granted.
• The Winner is not permitted to substitute the Prize for cash or any other alternatives. The Prize and Prize Certificate is not transferable to any other person.
• The Prize is subject to availability, holidays, and blackout dates at the time of fulfillment. Special events excluded. This Prize does not include any additional guests or extra room nights.
• Reservations must be confirmed at least 30 days prior to travel dates.
• Sponsor has the right to substitute the Prize offered for a prize of equal or greater value if the Prize becomes unavailable for any reason.

In no event will more prizes than are stated in these Official Rules be awarded. If, for any reason, more prize notifications are sent (or more claims are received) than the number of prizes offered, as set forth in these Official Rules, Administrator reserves the right to award the intended number of prizes through a random drawing from among all eligible prize claims received.

Prizes are non-transferable, with no cash redemptions, equivalents, or substitutions except at Administrator’s sole and absolute discretion. All prize details not specified in these Official Rules will be determined in Administrator’s sole and absolute discretion. Prize details and availability are subject to change and are subject to applicable rules and restrictions. In the event that Administrator is unable to provide a prize or prize component, the Administrator may elect to provide winners with the approximate value of such item in cash or award an alternate prize of comparable or greater value. Prizes are awarded “AS IS” and without warranty of any kind, express or implied (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose). Prizes are considered income, and winners will be solely responsible for all federal, state, and/or local taxes, and for any other fees or costs associated with the prizes received, regardless of whether they, in whole or in part, are used. The ARV of the prizes is based on available information provided to Administrator as of the time these Official Rules are printed and may fluctuate. The value of the Grand Prize will be reported for tax purposes as required by law. The Grand Prize winner will be required to provide Administrator with a valid social security number before the Grand Prize will be awarded, for tax reporting purposes. An IRS Form 1099 will be issued in the name of the Grand Prize winner for the actual value of the Grand Prize. The Sweepstakes Parties are not responsible for and will not replace any lost, mutilated, or stolen prize, or any prize that is undeliverable or does not reach the winner because of an incorrect or changed address. If a winner does not accept or use the entire prize, the unaccepted or unused part of the prize will be forfeited, and the Sweepstakes Parties will have no further obligation with respect to that prize or portion of the prize. The Sweepstakes Parties are not responsible for, and winner will not receive the difference, if any, between the actual value of the prizes at the time of award and the stated ARV in these Official Rules or in any Sweepstakes-related correspondence or material. Administrator will attempt to fulfill all properly claimed physical prizes within approximately four (4) to six (6) weeks after winner verification. Any digital prize will be awarded upon winner verification.

Limitation of Liability

By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree that the Sweepstakes Entities and each of their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, representatives, consultants, contractors, legal counsel, advertising, public relations, promotional, fulfillment and marketing agencies, website providers, and each of their respective officers, directors, stockholders, employees, representatives, designees, and agents (“Released Parties”) are not responsible for: (i) lost, late, incomplete, stolen, misdirected, postage due, or undeliverable e-mail notifications, telephone calls, or postal mail; (ii) any computer, telephone, satellite, cable, network, electronic, or internet hardware or software malfunctions, failures, connections, or availability; (iii) garbled, corrupt, or jumbled transmissions, service provider/internet/Website/UseNet accessibility, availability or traffic congestion; (iv) any technical, mechanical, printing, or typographical or other error; (v) the incorrect or inaccurate capture of registration information or the failure to capture, or loss of, any such information; (vi) any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, technical error, theft or destruction, or unauthorized access to the Website; (vii) any injury or damage, whether personal or property, to entrants or to any person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in the Sweepstakes and/or accepting a prize; and (viii) entries that are late, forged, lost, misplaced, misdirected, tampered with, incomplete, deleted, damaged, garbled, or otherwise not in compliance with the Official Rules. Further, the Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for any undelivered telephone calls, messages, or e-mails, including without limitation, e-mails that are not received because of an entrant’s privacy or spam filter settings that may divert any winner notification or other Sweepstakes-related e-mail to a spam or junk folder.      

By entering the Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees: (i) to be bound by these Official Rules, including entry requirements; (ii) to waive any rights to claim ambiguity with respect to these Official Rules; (iii) to waive all of his/her rights to bring any claim, action, or proceeding against any of the Released Parties in connection with the Sweepstakes; and (iv) to forever and irrevocably agree to release and hold harmless each of the Released Parties from any and all claims, lawsuits, judgments, causes of action, proceedings, demands, fines, penalties, liability, costs, and expenses (including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ fees) that may arise in connection with: (a) the Sweepstakes, including, but not limited to, any Sweepstakes-related activity or element thereof, and the entrant’s entries, participation, or inability to participate in the Sweepstakes; (b) the violation of any third-party privacy, personal, publicity, or proprietary rights; (c) acceptance, attendance at, receipt, travel related to, participation in, delivery of, possession, defects in, use, non-use, misuse, inability to use, loss, damage, destruction, negligence, or willful misconduct in connection with the use of a prize (or any component thereof); (d) any change in the prizing (or any components thereof); (e) human error; (f) any wrongful, negligent, or unauthorized act or omission on the part of any of the Released Parties; (g) lost, late, stolen, misdirected, damaged, or destroyed prizing (or any element thereof); or (h) the negligence or willful misconduct by entrant.

If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, or the integrity and or feasibility of the Sweepstakes is severely undermined by any event beyond the control of Administrator or any Sponsor, including but not limited to fire, flood, epidemic, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, war (declared or undeclared), terrorist threat or activity, or any federal, state, or local government law, order, or regulation, order of any court or jurisdiction, infection by computer virus, unauthorized intervention, technical failures, or other cause not reasonably within the control of Administrator (each a “Force Majeure” event or occurrence), Administrator and the Sponsors reserve the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to abbreviate, cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes and/or proceed with the Sweepstakes, including the selection of winners in a manner it deems fair and reasonable, including the selection of winners from among eligible entries received prior to such cancellation, termination, modification, or suspension without any further obligation provided a sufficient number of eligible entries are received. If Administrator, in its discretion, elects to alter this Sweepstakes as a result of a Force Majeure event, a notice will be posted at the Website.

Disputes

THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS GOVERNED BY, AND WILL BE CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH, THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA, AND THE FORUM AND VENUE FOR ANY DISPUTE SHALL BE IN FLORIDA. IF THE CONTROVERSY OR CLAIM IS NOT OTHERWISE RESOLVED THROUGH DIRECT DISCUSSIONS OR MEDIATION, IT SHALL THEN BE RESOLVED BY FINAL AND BINDING ARBITRATION ADMINISTERED BY THE AMERICAN ARBITRATION ASSOCIATION IN ACCORDANCE WITH ITS ARBITRATION RULES AND PROCEDURES OR SUBSEQUENT VERSIONS THEREOF (“AAA RULES”). THE AAA RULES FOR SELECTION OF AN ARBITRATOR SHALL BE FOLLOWED, EXCEPT THAT THE ARBITRATOR SHALL BE EXPERIENCED AND LICENSED TO PRACTICE LAW IN WISCONSIN. ALL PROCEEDINGS BROUGHT PURSUANT TO THIS PARAGRAPH WILL BE CONDUCTED IN FLORIDA. THE REMEDY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL DAMAGES, AND IN NO EVENT SHALL ANY PARTY BE ENTITLED TO RECOVER PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES OR TO HAVE DAMAGES MULTIPLIED OR OTHERWISE INCREASED, INCLUDING ATTORNEYS’ FEES OR OTHER SUCH RELATED COSTS OF BRINGING A CLAIM, OR TO RESCIND THIS AGREEMENT OR SEEK INJUNCTIVE OR ANY OTHER EQUITABLE RELIEF. ENTRANTS AGREE THAT THE RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF ANY ENTRANT AND/OR SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES AND/OR ANY OTHER PARTY SHALL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION. ANY DEMAND FOR ARBITRATION MUST BE FILED WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR OF THE TIME THE CAUSE OF ACTION OCCURRED OR THE CAUSE OF ACTION SHALL BE FOREVER BARRED.  

Privacy Policy 

Any personally identifiable information collected during an entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes will be collected by Administrator or its designee and used by Administrator, its affiliates, designees, agents, and marketers for purposes of the proper administration and fulfillment of the Sweepstakes as described in these Official Rules and otherwise in accordance with Administrator’s privacy policy at http://www.weareteachers.com/privacy-policy. 

Publicity Rights

By participating in the Sweepstakes and/or accepting a prize, each entrant agrees to allow Administrator, the applicable Entry Period Sponsor, and Administrator’s designee the perpetual right to use his/her name, biographical information, photos and likeness, voice recording, video images and all related footage, and statements for promotion, trade, commercial, advertising, and publicity purposes, at any time or times, in all media now known or hereafter discovered worldwide, including but not limited to television (including live television), radio, and internet, without notice, review, or approval and without additional compensation except where prohibited by law. 

General

Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. Any attempted form of participation in this Sweepstakes other than as described herein is void and will result in disqualification, and if such person is selected as a potential winner, revocation of his/her prize. If it is discovered or suspected that a person has registered, entered or attempted to register or receive entries using multiple e-mail addresses, identities, IP addresses, or use of proxy servers or like methods, all of that person’s entries will be declared null and void and that person will not be awarded any prize that he/she might have been entitled to receive and such prize may be forfeited at the Administrator’s sole and absolute discretion. Administrator reserves the right to disqualify any individual found, in its sole and absolute opinion, to be tampering with the operation of the Sweepstakes, to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike manner or with the intent to disrupt the normal operation of the Sweepstakes.

CAUTION AND WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR TO UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE ADMINISTRATOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE FOR THE ATTEMPT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. If any provision of these Official Rules or any word, phrase, clause, sentence, or other portion thereof should be held unenforceable or invalid for any reason, then that provision or portion thereof shall be modified or deleted in such manner as to render the remaining provisions of these Official Rules valid and enforceable. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Official Rules or any prize documents will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. Administrator’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision and such provision shall remain in full force and effect. All entries and/or materials submitted will not be returned. In the event of any conflict with any Sweepstakes details contained in these Official Rules and the Sweepstakes details contained in any Sweepstakes promotional materials (including, but not limited to, point of sale, television and print advertising, promotional packaging, and other promotional media), the details of the Sweepstakes as set forth in these Official Rules shall prevail.
