In-person field trips may be out this year, but you can still provide your students with fun and educational experiences that take them (virtually) outside the classroom. Pasture Play Moments (30 minutes)
This is your students’ chance to get down in the mud with the cows… without actually getting dirty! In this section of the field trip, kids go on a tour of an organic farm in Vermont featuring happy cows at home on the farm. The views are pretty incredible, but it’s the up close and personal look at cows that’s really special. You’ll also get to meet the farm kids, and we think students will really love learning from other children.
Meet the Farmers (45 minutes)
In the second part, kids will get to know the families behind the farms. They talk about continuing the work of many generations before them and why organic matters . They also explain how they supply Stonyfield Organic with the milk they use to make their yogurt.
