We all know getting kids in the backyard to play is important, but it isn’t happening. According to Sanford Health, “on average, American children spend four to seven minutes a day in unstructured outdoor play compared to seven or more hours in front of a screen.”
Our friends at OFF!® Repellents wanted to help tackle this problem. So, they developed The Never Starting Tales, a collection of free, full-color, digital storybooks that hilariously imagine what would have happened if well-known fairy-tale characters had never left their homes.
We loved these stories so much we created lessons and activity sheets to go with them. Start by sharing The Never Starting Tales with kids to get them thinking about why more adventures start outside. Then, continue the fun with these free resources.
