Emily Miller, B.S., Art Ed; M.Ed., Instruction & Curriculum

Emily Miller is an art educator with over a decade of experience teaching in Rockford Public Schools. A graduate of Grand Valley State University, she holds a Master’s in Instruction and Curriculum and teaches Young Fives through first grade, inspiring creativity through lessons on art elements and influential artists. Outside the classroom, she is deeply involved in the Grand Rapids arts community—volunteering with Festival of the Arts, hosting the West Michigan Youth Art Exhibition, and serving on various GVSU alumni boards. If there is any time left, Emily may be found creating colorful chalk drawings or murals throughout the community.
