Well, this may be the spring boost we needed. We just heard that for the entire month of May, one of our favorite math programs, Mathseeds, is giving away two $150 technology grants to classrooms who have used the program during the week. Fun—especially since it’s a program that we’re already using with our students.
Never heard of Mathseeds?
Allow us to introduce you. It’s an online math program designed for students in kindergarten through third grade. (Think: Screen time meets math lessons.)
One of the things we love most about Mathseeds is that it tests each student’s abilities through a placement test then builds highly personalized lessons based on the results. This means all the students in your class will be challenged and learning at their own level and speed. It’s the perfect way to reinforce math skills for kids who love to play games on their tablets or computers.
Oh, and one more thing! The program comes with a complete arsenal of helpful teacher resources, such as automated online scoring, detailed lesson plans, and a teacher tool kit.
