Get those paintbrushes, markers, crayons and colored pencils ready!
This annual contest for students in grades preK–12 celebrates wildlife and creativity in all its forms. Plus the winning entries will receive a creative artist prize pack, including colored pencils, a sketch pad, an animals coloring book, and more (full prizing listed below). The first 2,000 entrants will also receive an IFAW 2017 calendar featuring artwork from last year’s contest winners!
Here’s how to enter:
- Talk to your students about the mission of IFAW and learn about some of its work around the world. Let the animals’ stories inspire your students in their art.
- Have your students create their art on a standard sheet of paper (either 8.5″ x 11″ or 9″ x 12″). All artwork must be created by hand using markers, crayons, colored pencils and/or paint. No photographs, photocopies, tracing or computer-generated designs. Must read and follow all other official rules found in our rules.
- Make sure all entries have an official entry form filled out and signed by the entrant, or if the entrant is a minor by the entrant’s parent or guardian. No group submissions. All entry forms must be postmarked between January 3, 2017 and March 30, 2017 to be eligible for this contest.
- Important Dates: Art submission deadline is March 30, 2017; Winners notified by May 17, 2017.
