When the guidance counselor is booked, we step in to help deal with everyday classroom issues and concerns.
2. CHEERLEADER
We offer them encouragement when they need it most and push them to their limits because we know they can do it.Â

They naturally look to us for motherly or fatherly advice. Sometimes they even call us âMomâ or âDad!â Â Â
4. DETECTIVE
We always figure out how solve the trickiest of classroom problems. Missing coats, lost flash drivesâtheyâre no match for us!
5. LIBRARIAN
We buy dozens of new and used books for our classroom libraries in the hopes of passing on our love of reading to our students.
6. NUTRITIONIST
We encourage kids to make healthy choices at lunch and snack time, because we know how important healthy food is for fueling their minds.
7. NURSE
We buy Band-Aids with our own money, we put our hands to hot foreheads, and we heal playground scrapes.
8. JUDGE
The âhe said, she saidâ game is no match for us. We can get to the bottom of problem and issue a verdict in no time.
9. CHEF
Between school potlucks, school parties, and treat days, we often spend more time finding and making the perfect recipe for a school event than we do on our own dinner at home. Â Â
10. BANKER
Field trip fees, book fair money, library finesâŠwe collect more money than Girl Scouts at cookie time. No wonder that math requirement in college was so important.Â
11. CUSTODIAN
Weâre always tidying up, wiping down, or cleaning up something.Â
12. DESIGNER
From door decorating contests to bulletin boards, our work would hold up on any Pinterest board. Â
