Take the Dr. Seuss Word Challenge for the Chance to Win Prizes

And get the free 2020 activity guide, too.

Sponsored By Random House Childrenā€™s Books

If your class is celebrating Dr. Seuss’s birthday on March 2, then you definitely want to sign up for the Dr. Seuss Word Challenge. In this third annual competition, readers log the number of Dr. Seuss books they read from March 2-6 for the chance to win amazing prizes.

The grand prize winner will earn a class party, classroom makeover, student costumes, and library of Dr. Seuss books

There are prizes for runners up, too, including a Dr. Seuss plush, costumes, and books. Whoo hoo! Plus, don’t miss the chance to read the Dr. Seuss “Book of the Day” with classrooms around the country. Whether it’s The Cat in the Hat or Green Eggs and Ham, it’s not often that we get to participate in shared reading experiences, so how fun to know you are reading the same classics as kids nationwide!

Be sure to  download the activity guide, too

The 2020 activity guide includes many more ideas for celebrating Dr. Seuss’s birthday, including a look at birthdays around the world and tips for throwing a Dr. Seuss costume party. You can also download the activity guides from prior years, which are packed with more teaching ideas and activities for Dr. Seuss’s books.

But don’t forgetā€”you have to sign up in order to be eligible for the amazing prizes. Just click the orange button below to enter.
