Word-rich classrooms help students build literacy skills—and they’re especially helpful for English-language learners. One simple way to make your classroom word-rich is to label the furniture.

We designed a set of 36 classroom labels with corresponding pictures for everything from “desk” to “light switch.” And just in case we missed an important piece of furniture in your classroom, we’ve included a blank sheet of labels so you can write in your own words too. Just download, print, cut and hang. You can even laminate your labels to help them last for years to come!
