Free Printable Gratitude Worksheets

Nurture a positive mindset.

Gratitude Feature

One of my favorite things to do during the year is to practice gratitude, which is why I created this bundle of gratitude worksheets for elementary students. Practicing gratitude can help children develop a positive mindset and build resilience. Plus, you can easily fit this practice into your daily classroom routine with just a few minutes to spare. You don’t need to find a long block of time to include this important skill into your school day.

What’s included in the Gratitude Worksheet Bundle?

All the gratitude worksheets featured below were designed to help elementary students practice gratitude quickly and easily and develop an appreciation for the little things in life.

Gratitude Tree
We Are Teachers

Gratitude Tree

The Gratitude Tree worksheet is a fun activity that encourages students to think about what they are grateful for. Students will have the opportunity to decorate their tree with leaves of gratitude by filling in each leaf with something they’re grateful for. Then, they will glue their leaves onto their tree. This worksheet can also be incorporated into a lesson about Thanksgiving. Plus, the finished product will create a great bulletin board!

Gratitude Jar

Gratitude Jar

The Gratitude Jar worksheet is a great way for students to practice gratitude throughout the month. Each day, students will label one marble with something they were grateful for that day. Then, at the end of the month, the students will have a jar full of memories that they are grateful for. This is a great way to remind students of all the wonderful things they experienced that month. This activity is simple enough to complete that you could repeat it every month and use it as part of your closing routine each day.

Gratitude Cards

Gratitude Cards

These cards are easy to print and pass out to students. You can use the black-and-white version and allow students to color them in themselves, or you can print out the colored versions to save time. Then, challenge your students to find someone they’re thankful for and express their gratitude using one of their gratitude cards. This is a great way to acknowledge those around you that you’re grateful for and encourage your students to express themselves.

Grateful Acrostic Poems

Gratitude Acrostic Poems

These worksheets help students practice expressing their gratitude through writing. Students will use each letter of the words “thankful,” “gratitude,” and “family” to write down things they are thankful for. This helps students to reflect on all the positive aspects of their lives while practicing their creative writing skills.

Incorporating gratitude into daily routines not only supports your students’ emotional wellness but also fosters a supportive and welcoming classroom environment. These gratitude worksheets will help you inspire your students to recognize and appreciate the positive things (big and small) happening in their lives.
