It’s International Coffee Day today! Celebrate with free or cheap coffee at a store near you. What better way to kick off a long work week than with free coffee? Grab some on your way into school or as an afternoon pick-me-up. Either way, you can’t go wrong with free coffee!

About International Coffee Day: This is an annual event observed on September 29 in numerous countries. On this day, many businesses around the world offer free or discounted cups of coffee. While the exact origin of International Coffee Day is unknown, it was celebrated in Japan in 1983 and in the United States as early as 2005.

Australia, Canada, England, Ethiopia, Hungary, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norway and Sweden celebrate on September 29 along with the United States, while 11 other countries celebrate on other dates during the fall.
