We’re Loving This New Digital Portfolio App, and Here’s Why

An easy way to capture, create, and publish student work.

New Digital Portfolio App

Imagine that you’re teaching a geography unit about rivers. For their final project, students annotate a map, showing the names of major waterways and which way they flow. Students record themselves describing their thinking and then publish that audio to share with friends and family.

That’s exactly the kind of work you can do with the new iOS app from bulb. We’ve been fans of bulb Digital Portfolios for a long time, so we were excited to learn about their new iOS app, which makes it even easier for students to capture and preserve their schoolwork—for life.

That’s right. Unlike other digital-portfolio options, bulb accounts stay with the student, so they will always have access to that amazing European history timeline they put together junior year, for example, or their seventh grade science fair project.

Here are some of the other cool things students can do with bulb Digital Portfolios:

  • Draw and annotate images
  • Create audio recordings
  • Combine tools to annotate and narrate work while simultaneously recording a video of their screen
  • One-touch AirDrop sharing

We think you’ll love it, and your students will too. (Did you know that 85 percent of students think that digital portfolios help them to see their growth?)
