Hybrid learning is new for just about everyone, and navigating it is no easy feat. We have to figure out how to recreate what happens in the in-person classroom in a hybrid environment (how do you form personal connections?), as well as address the unique challenges of a hybrid model (how do you give kids a break?). To help, we worked with our friends at Envision by WorldStrides to create this Building Community in the Hybrid Classroom guide. Inside, you’ll find all kinds of real teacher tips and fun ideas for celebrating success and providing downtime, specifically for your grade level.

Check out our ideas for bringing your class together, from Zoom parties to hosting a virtual scavenger hunt. And don’t miss our suggested theme days!
Middle school

High school
It’s all about handing over responsibility with this age group. Think choices and peer accountability. We also linked to some of our favorite, school appropriate playlists.
