If you’re in the market for a new teacher laptop or tablet, you might be wondering if there are any Apple teacher discounts. Here’s the story.
Teachers are eligible for Apple’s education pricing and deals.
Typically, these offers focus on free add-ons rather than significant discounts on hardware, although you can often snag a $50–$200 discount on the equipment, too. (For example, with back-to-school education pricing you can save $100 off the list price on the 128GB 13″ MacBook Air.)
Even better? Apple’s current back-to-school offer includes a free pair of Beats Studio3 headphones when you buy a MacBook or iMac. Those will normally set you back $350 just by themselves, so that’s a pretty significant savings.
Save on iPad, too.
Right now, teachers can save $50 when they buy a new iPad Pro or $20 on an iPad Air. The tablets also come with a free pair of headphones, but it’s the slightly less Solo3 model. Round it out with $10–$40 savings on the Apple Pencil, depending on the model you purchase. (Teacher friends have been telling us they love the Pencil for all kinds of drawing, writing, science, and math apps.)
