How to create an online Amazon teacher wish list

Create your list

  1. Log in to your Amazon account and go to Account & Lists.
  2. Select Your List. 
  3. Select Create a List and write your list name. Keep is short and identifiable, like 4C or Mr. Cicco’s class. 
  4. Select the three dots, and Manage List to update your shipping address to make sure the items are sent to your school. 
  5. Don’t forget to Save Changes.

Fill your list

As you browse Amazon, select Add to List and select your teacher list to fill it.

Organize your list

To sort items by price or priority, select the three dots at the top right and choose the option from the Sort by menu.

Share your list

  1. Go to Your List.
  2. Choose the list and select Invite or Send List to Others. 
  3. Choose View only or View and Edit. When people can View only they can order items, when they can View and edit, people can adjust the items in your list. 
  4. Copy the link or select Invite by Email.

Purchase from a list

  1. Browse the list.
  2. Choose an item and Add to Cart. 
  3. Continue shopping or proceed to check out.

How to create an Amazon wish list in the mobile app

  • Create and organize your list.
  • Go to Your Lists or Account and Lists.
  • Select Create a List.
  • Name your list with a name that will be immediately recognizable to parents, like Mr. Cicco’s wish list or 5D.  
  • Manage settings. Change privacy to Shared so others can view the list and update the shipping address to your school. 
  • Add items by browsing Amazon and finding items you want to add.
  • Share the list by copying the link and sending it, or invite people to view the list directly. 

Share your Amazon wish list

Share your list with parents during school events and conferences. And, share it more broadly on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn. Try using hashtags on your social posts such as #clearthelist2025, #clearthelist, and #PostForPencils. If it’s allowed, share the list in your classroom or school newsletter. Send emails or messages via your parent communication app. Sometimes PTAs or local community groups purchase items from teacher wish lists, so it’s worth checking.
