Nelson is the author of six books and hundreds of articles. Books include We Are All Athletes, Making Money on the Sidelines, The Stronger Women Get, The More Men Love Football, Embracing Victory. She has written for the Washington Post, USA Today, New York Times, etc., and has given keynote addresses to hundreds of corporate, association, college, and government groups - mostly about sports and success. In 2007 Nelson was named one of the most influential sports educators in America.
