Rachel Simmons prides herself on being able to recruit top nurses to her hospital. The 47 year old nurse recruiter had great rapport with candidates because of her 10 years of experience as a pediatric nurse. She understood the stress, responsibilities, and rewards inherent in the nursing profession. In short, she could convince her candidates that the hospital would be a great place for them to work.

Back to School Library Grants from Dollar General Literacy Foundation

The Dollar General Literacy Foundation is accepting applications for Back to School Library Grants. The grants provide funding to school libraries or media centers working to implement new or expand existing literacy programs, looking to purchase new technology or equipment to support literacy initiatives, and/or looking to purchase materials or software for literacy programs.
