Welcome!
Help
Greetings! I hope you'll join the Technology Circle.

Thank you for visiting my WeAreTeachers community profile. I haven't added to my Marketplace yet, but I plan to. In the meantime, I'm working hard at being a good moderator for the Technology Circle. I am hoping that we can all share great ideas, successes, challenges, products, and comments that will improve our technology expertise.

This Flip Ultra video camera is my latest "find." I have seen videos produced on it, and the quality is great. It should arrive today, and I can't WAIT to play around with it. I hope you'll check back to see what I'm doing with it.

My plan is to share with others the ideas I have for using this and other technology to improve education--from kindergarten all the way through lifelong learning.

Create Your Own Avatar
If you use instant messaging or other online communications, you may want to have some fun by creating your own, personalized avatar to represent yourself. Sure, you can use your own photograph, but this provides a little anonymity while enabling you to get a little “jazzed up.”

Worthy Web 2.0 Tools
Here's a neat tech tool that could be used in many different ways in education--Odiogo. When students or teachers create blogs, they can use this tool to voice the text. It's a great vocabulary building tool for younger students and ESL students. Also, it's a great communications tool for the older, more experienced set. Give it a try! Be sure to report back on your experiences and opinions. http://www.odiogo.com/
