Part of my job is identifying and implementing effective ways to leverage social networking and marketing techniques for our members. It is so easy to get drawn in at a force of a Dyson vacuum into the lastest craze in fear of not wanting to be left behind...or worse not giving our members the right mix of tools.
I find myself hunting for the test question when analyzing new trends and technology. When the rubber meets the road, does this really work or apply to our members? How do you sift through all of the possibilities and data to identify the winning idea? I came down to these questions. So at the end of the day, when the rubber meets the road--are these the questions that are going to make the biggest impact for WAT members?
1. Does it help members reach other members in a bigger or more efficient way?
2. Does it improve the way members interact with eachother without adding time?
3. Does it help others find our member or members knowlede based products/services more effectively?
4. Does it help members broaden their ability to distribute their knowledge based products and services?
