The Jefferson Parish Public School System continues to lead the state of Louisiana in the number of classrooms outfitted with interactive class boards, digital projectors, 1-to-1 laptop program, and every teacher with a laptop computer. In 2009, the system will have more than 1,200 interactive Promethean boards in use and all 3,000 classrooms will be equipped with a new network and multi-media access.
