The National Summit on 21st Century Skills
Washington D.C., June 12, 2009

The National Summit on 21st Century Skills is a gathering of a select group of education leaders, policy makers and business people who are coming together to discuss where the movement is today and how to best forward it in the future.

While in Washington, this group will focus on collaborating to engage the new administration and Congress with the goal of forwarding the 21st century skills movement. They will also promote the National Action Agenda for 21st century skills at the national, state and local levels.


Be Heard and Participate Online in the Cyber Summit on 21st Century Skills, June 1st-12th Since the National Summit is a live-and-in-person “by invitation only” event—yet the subject matter so important to a nation-wide audience—the Partnership for 21st Century Skills has produced the 2009 Cyber Summit on 21st Century Skills, free and open to all for participation from June 1st through June 12th.

About the Partnership for 21st Century Skills

 

The Partnership for 21st Century Skills is the leading advocacy organization focused on infusing 21st century skills into education. The organization brings together the business community, education leaders, and policymakers to define a powerful vision for 21st century education to ensure every child’s success as citizens and workers in the 21st century. The Partnership encourages schools, districts, and states to advocate for the infusion of 21st century skills into education and provides tools and resources to help facilitate and drive change.

The Partnership is made up of:

  • State Partners who have outlined their commitment to and strategy for implementing a 21st Century Skills initiative within their state
  • Business and Organization Members who have the opportunity to influence national and state level decision makers on how to best implement a framework for 21st learning in every state, district and classroom in America.
  • Professional Development Affiliates, who are companies and organizations that specialize in providing administrator and educator training to states, districts and schools.
