Fivecoat's mission is to make WeAreTeachers a teaching, learning, and business online network that places teachers at the center of the web 2.0 world. Ms. Fivecoat is an established and respected executive coach, having spent the last three years managing Fivecoat and Associates, a consulting firm whose client list includes Dell and Standard & Poors, and education technology firms. Ms. Fivecoat's previous industry experience includes Senior Vice President of Sales for Lightspan, Inc., and Area Director of public sector sales for Apple Computer. Prior to her work in the private sector, she held numerous positions in education, including policy leader as the first director of education technology for the State of Texas. Ms. Fivecoat has been a teacher, administrator, and university researcher, but her most relevant ties to education and technology is the grounding she receives daily from her large extended family of eight children and eleven grand children. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, from which she holds both Masters and Bachelors (cum laude) degrees in mathematics and computer science education. |  |  | | | | | |  | Jim Clor, VP, Business Partnerships Jim joined the WeAreTeachers team in August 2008 as VP of Business Partnerships. Jim oversees all business development and partnership programs with current and new affiliate organizations. Jim is responsible for developing viable business partner programs that enhance the WeAreTeachers Knowledge Marketplace experience for business affiliate and association members. Jim has been involved in education and technology for over ten years with some of the industry’s leading organizations including Lightspan/Plato Learning, Wireless Generation and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Learning Technology. He has achieved numerous top sales performance awards while serving on strategic and urban education sales teams. As a sales director, Jim has also helped to secure state education initiatives in Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky working with the State Boards of Education. After graduating from Central Michigan University, Jim started his career with the Walt Disney Company working in sales, marketing, and training. During his tenure at Disney, Jim facilitated the company’s orientation program, Traditions, which is Disney’s history, culture and customer service standards training program. He also was a part of the training team for Disney’s external business programs attended by executive leaders from some of the top fortune 500 companies. Additionally, Jim has served as a trainer to the opening teams of Disney’s first off-site resorts in Vero Beach, Florida and Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Jim’s professional sales experience and interpersonal skills provide business partners with a customer-centric approach for developing lasting partnerships at WeAreTeachers. Jim resides in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan with his wife and three children. | 
| Donnine Souhrada, Director of Marketing Donnine Souhrada joined WeAreTeachers in October of 2007 as Director of Product Marketing. Donnine is responsible for working with development to communicate customer needs and product requirements. Donnine is also responsible for creating and implementing communication programs to help increase teacher membership and promote member engagement. Donnine has worked in marketing in educational technology for over 15 years. She began her career at Compton’s NewMedia, producers of the first encyclopedia on CD-ROM, as a product marketing manager working on the Encyclopedia and children’s edutainment product line. As the director of product marketing at Lightspan she worked on the launch of several software and Internet products used by teachers and students. Before joining WeAreTeachers she worked as a consultant on numerous projects for various companies including Tabula Digita, Co-Nect, HOSTS Learning, and Retention Education to define and implement sales, marketing and customer retention programs. Donnine graduated from California State University, San Marcos and the University of Phoenix and holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Organizational Management. She is a member of the American Marketing Association. Donnine’s professional experience demonstrates a desire and passion for working in technology related products with companies as they transition from start-up to medium-sized revenue generating businesses. | | 
| Malcolm St. Romain, VP, Product Development and Operations Malcolm is responsible for managing the development team to insure the WeAreTeachers application performs as expected. He works closely with the business development unit to collect the product functional requirements and priorities. Malcom works to ensure product requests meet the business objectives and compares them to the available operation team's resources and development guidelines, then works to deliver each feature on time and on budget. Malcolm has been a student and manager of start-up business operations for nearly 20 years. He is a graduate from the University of Texas with both a Masters in Engineering (Operations Research) and his Bachelors of Business Administration (Finance). His commitment to detail started during his years of doing accounting work after receiving his undergraduate at UT. His understanding of Continuous Process Improvement began during his participation in the UT Small Business Quality Consortia while getting his Masters degree. After graduating from UT's Graduate School with a MS in Operations Research, he managed the Phoenix office of ACS Dataline. Prior to his tenure in Phoenix, the Division's revenue growth was flat, but stable. His organizational improvements were immediate and allowed for the 200% annual sales and operations growth to occur, taking the initial staff headcount from 35 to over 125 in less than two years. Upon his return to the Texas hill country, Malcolm was one of the founding partners of Avatar Technology, an Austin Texas based web software development company. For the past 15 years he has been involved in all aspects of web software development (Marketing, Sales, Development, Customer Support) but has found his real passion lies in the implementation of effective operational processes. He has participated at the Executive leadership level of many professional and service organizations. He is a Certified Production and Inventory Manager via the APICS organization. Malcolm is married and has two great kids. He is an avid Longhorn and New Orleans Saints football fan, loves to swim at Barton Springs in downtown Austin, cook gumbo and spends quality time with his family and friends. | | | | Board of Directors | | |
