I’ve received lots of feedback saying we should kick off this week’s 'WAT Tech Circle Forum' by covering some basics. I’m an advocate of technology in the classroom and an educator who loves to explore, try new things, and share what I learn. While I’m learning as fast as I can by any means I can, I’m looking forward to hearing from you—the Technology Circle members. In a semester-long project on U.S. geography, our students worked in small groups and selected different regions of the U.S. Each group member was responsible for creating and maintaining a blog about a topic: cost of living, climate, industry, etc. As they found information, they blogged about it. Members of other groups were required to read and comment on at least one other blog throughout the semester. Blogs in the classroom; how have you used them? Do you love them or hate them? What’s the best you’ve seen? Share your favorite education technology blogs that you've used in your classroom.
